TRIPLE HAND POKER

A CLASSIC GAME WITH A NEW TWIST

Triple Hand Poker is an exciting new way to play one of the world’s favorite games. It may be new, but it is easy to play. Our game has a great twist that turns a regular poker game into an action-packed event!

THE STORY BEHIND TRIPLE HAND POKER

Triple Hand Poker is a game conceived in a college dormitory some years ago. There were three of us sitting around wondering what to do?? We proposed a poker game (unlike a traditional table game with betting on each hand).

It was originally called “International Mediterranean Roulette Poker” (too confusing). We renamed it “Triple Hand Poker”, which somehow evolved into this game you are ready to embark on….Enjoy!!!

HOW TO PLAY

Explanation of Home Screen Buttons

Home Screen Buttons

Play Offline with Bot: This option is a one-on-one game with you and the bot (Lenart). In the settings section (see screenshot below), you can choose the difficulty level and how many points you want to play to.

Play Online with Person: With this option, you will play with other players (2 to 6 people can play simultaneously). Once a room has been opened, there will be 30 seconds for others to join. If 2 to 3 players are in a game, 1 deck of cards will be used; if there are 4 to 6 players, 2 decks will be used. This game is played until the first person reaches 100 points.

Important:

If there is a tie and 2 or more people reach 100 points simultaneously, the first person who submits their hands will win the game.

In the 4 to 6 player game, there are 2 decks of cards, so 2 people can have the same hand. If this happens, the first person to submit their hands will win that round.

How To Play: Here, you will find a step-by-step video of how to play the game.

Customize Your Game: In this section, you can choose and change your character and card backs (see screenshot below).

Now the Rules…

Each player is dealt 17 cards.

From those 17 cards, you create 3 different poker hands/rows containing 5 cards each.

Your cards can be moved from one hand/row to another, making 3 of the best poker hands possible (click here to view the Hierarchy of Poker).

Once you have made your 3 best hands, you can then change which row you want each hand to be in by clicking and dragging to the left of each row (see screenshot below).

Once you are satisfied with your 3 hands and their placement, you can hit submit, and your hands will be compared with the other players’ hands. Each winning row gets 10 points, so that you could win up to 30 points for a round. The first person to reach 100 points wins the game. If you play offline with the bot, you can choose how many points you want to play to.

Important:

If there is a tie and two or more people reach 100 points simultaneously, the first person who submits their hands will win the game.

In the four to six-player game, there are two decks of cards, so two people can have the same hand. If this happens, the first person to submit their hands will win that round.

HAVE A QUESTION?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

There can be 2 to 6 players in a tournament.

The best hand is a royal straight flush. However, in the 4 to 6 player game, there are 2 decks of cards, so it is possible to get 5 of a kind, which would beat any other hand.

View and read about the hierarchy of poker hands

This is where the fun and strategy take place. The key in Triple Hand Poker is placing each poker hand into the row you think will be best and win.

A row is where you place your poker hands. You can place any of your poker hands in any row you want, in any order you want. The poker hand you place in “Row 1” will go against your opponent’s hand that they placed in “Row 1”; the poker hand you place in “Row 2” will go against your opponent’s hand that they placed in “Row 2”; and finally, the poker hand you place in “Row 3” will go against your opponent’s hand that they placed in “Row 3”.

NO! That is the strategy of Triple Hand Poker. You decide which hand goes where in whatever order you wish. You may want to put your best hand in “Row 3” and your worst hand in “Row 1”. Whatever you want and think will give you the best chance of winning is what you do.

After creating your best hands and placing them in the rows you want, you will hit submit. The reveal will show each hand in row “1” to determine a winner for that row. Remember, a winner is determined by the best poker hand (See “Hierarchy of Poker”). After a winner is determined in row “1” the reveal will move on to row “2” and then row “3”. Then, the points will be revealed, and a new round will begin.

After each hand in a row is revealed, 10 points are awarded for your hand in that row. After all the 3 rows are revealed, any rows you won will be added to points for that round.

The point value is 10 points per row (a possible 30 points per game) and 100 points per tournament. The first player to reach 100 points wins the tournament.
