TRIPLE HAND POKER
A CLASSIC GAME WITH A NEW TWIST
THE STORY BEHIND TRIPLE HAND POKER
Triple Hand Poker is a game conceived in a college dormitory some years ago. There were three of us sitting around wondering what to do?? We proposed a poker game (unlike a traditional table game with betting on each hand).
It was originally called “International Mediterranean Roulette Poker” (too confusing). We renamed it “Triple Hand Poker”, which somehow evolved into this game you are ready to embark on….Enjoy!!!

Adjust your settings to choose your point goal and challenge level, then play at your own pace to sharpen your strategy.
Play with Multiplayers
Join online matches and compete against multiple players. Once a room is opened, there’s a 30-second window for others to join before the game begins.
- 2–3 players: 1 deck
- 4–6 players: 2 decks
- The game continues until a player reaches 100 points or the point limit set by the host.
Important
- If two or more players reach the target score at the same time, the first player to tap Submit wins.
- In 4–6 player games, identical hands may occur since two decks are used. If that happens, the first to submit wins that round.
- Each round is timed based on the selected skill level:
- Beginner – 3 minutes
- Intermediate – 2 minutes
- Advanced – 1 minute
Play with Friends
Invite your friends and start a private game for a more personalized experience. The host controls all game settings — including the difficulty level, point goal, and whether to fill empty seats with bots.

How to Play Triple Hand Poker
Now that you know your way around the settings, let’s dive into the rules and learn how the game is played.
- Each player is dealt 17 cards.
- From these cards, you’ll build three poker hands (or rows), each containing five cards.
- You can move cards between rows at any time to create the strongest possible combination of hands — aim for your best three!
(Tap here to view poker rankings.) - Once you’re satisfied, rearrange the order of your rows by tapping and dragging on the left side of each row.

Scoring and Point Systems
After building your three hands and placing them in the order you prefer, tap Submit. Your hands will then be compared to those of the other players.
There are two scoring methods, depending on the mode you’re playing:
Points by Game
- Each winning hand (row) earns 10 points, so you can score up to 30 points per round.
- The first player to reach 100 points (or the point goal set in Settings) wins.
Important
- If two or more players reach the target score at the same time, the first to submit wins.
- In 4–6 player games, identical hands may occur. If so, the first to submit wins the round.
Points by Hand
Each of your three hands scores points based on its poker ranking, and the overall round winner earns an additional 5 bonus points.
Point Breakdown:
- High Card – 1 point
- Pair – 2 points
- Two Pair – 3 points
- Three of a Kind – 4 points
- Straight – 5 points
- Flush – 6 points
- Full House – 7 points
- Four of a Kind – 8 points
- Straight Flush – 9 points
- Royal Flush – 10 points
- Five of a Kind (4–6 player games only) – 11 points
- Bonus: +5 points to the overall round winner
Important
- If two or more players reach the target score at the same time, the first to submit wins.
- In 4–6 player games, if identical hands occur, the first to submit wins that round.
Have fun, enjoy the game, and may the best hand win!

HIERARCHY OF POKER
HAVE A QUESTION?
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Watch the video
Read the instructions
There can be 2 to 6 players in a tournament.
The best hand is a royal straight flush. However, in the 4 to 6 player game, there are 2 decks of cards, so it is possible to get 5 of a kind, which would beat any other hand.
View and read about the hierarchy of poker hands
This is where the fun and strategy take place. The key in Triple Hand Poker is placing each poker hand into the row you think will be best and win.
A row is where you place your poker hands. You can place any of your poker hands in any row you want, in any order you want. The poker hand you place in “Row 1” will go against your opponent’s hand that they placed in “Row 1”; the poker hand you place in “Row 2” will go against your opponent’s hand that they placed in “Row 2”; and finally, the poker hand you place in “Row 3” will go against your opponent’s hand that they placed in “Row 3”.
NO! That is the strategy of Triple Hand Poker. You decide which hand goes where in whatever order you wish. You may want to put your best hand in “Row 3” and your worst hand in “Row 1”. Whatever you want and think will give you the best chance of winning is what you do.
After creating your best hands and placing them in the rows you want, you will hit submit. The reveal will show each hand in row “1” to determine a winner for that row. Remember, a winner is determined by the best poker hand (See “Hierarchy of Poker”). After a winner is determined in row “1” the reveal will move on to row “2” and then row “3”. Then, the points will be revealed, and a new round will begin.
After each hand in a row is revealed, 10 points are awarded for your hand in that row. After all the 3 rows are revealed, any rows you won will be added to points for that round.
The point value is 10 points per row (a possible 30 points per game) and 100 points per tournament. The first player to reach 100 points wins the tournament.
